Changing between colors in the plastics industry can use more virgin resin than is necessary. Additionally, by just using virgin resin you may not be removing all the color residue from the system. Colorgon purge compound cuts the amount of virgin resin used in the changeover to 1/3 of what you would normally have used. Its patented phenoxy resin, Phenoxy, has very high affinity for certain pigments. When alloyed with other selected materials the range and breadth of organic and inorganic pigments that fix to COLORGON™ is enormous.
